After years of running the monster world’s favorite vacation spot, Drac faces a new nightmare:
Winnie and Dennis are finally old enough to take part in the ancient monster tradition — the Fright of Passage.
This once-in-a-century challenge sends young monsters on a dangerous (and often chaotic) trek through the Shadowlands, where they must prove their bravery, wit, and monstrous spirit.
But when Dennis, Winnie, and their friends mysteriously vanish inside a forbidden zone known as The Hollow Howl, Drac, Mavis, Johnny, and the whole gang team up for their most terrifying — and hilarious — rescue mission yet.
From haunted swamps filled with snarky goblins, to skies swarmed with sarcastic vampire bats, to a forgotten titan monster awakened from its slumber, the adventure pushes everyone to their limits.
As Drac tries to protect Dennis from every danger, he must face the truth he fears most:
kids grow up… even half-vampire ones.
In the end, the monsters discover that courage isn’t about being scary — it’s about standing together when everything gets frightening.
